The designer
Nandin Erdene is a Mongolian-born fashion designer trained in both Mongolia and Italy. Her creative path bridges continents, cultures, and philosophies, from the wide, poetic landscapes of Mongolia to the refined techniques of Italian couture and the contemporary innovation of Dutch design.
After studying fashion in Mongolia, she deepened her knowledge in Milan, immersed in its traditions of tailoring and craftsmanship. Her early career took shape in a variety of environments, from small artisan ateliers to internationally recognized fashion houses across Italy and the Netherlands.
Seeking a space where creativity could move freely, without external constraints, she established her own label in Amsterdam. There, in her atelier, she designs and handcrafts each piece from start to finish with intention, care, and emotional depth.

Philosophy
For Nandin Erdene, design is a quiet language. It speaks through feeling, silhouette, and subtle tension. Her process begins with emotion, often sparked by light, movement, sound, or memory. Drawing from her cultural roots and personal reflections, she creates garments that are expressive and grounded.
Her work finds balance between softness and structure, the delicate and the defined. Rather than follow trends, she prefers to tell stories through form, garments that feel poetic, yet are meant to be lived in.

Craftsmanship
Every garment is ethically made in Nandin Erdene’s own atelier in Amsterdam. From sketching to final finishing, she is personally involved in every step of the process.
She uses techniques such as draping, moulage, and traditional pattern making to shape delicate, lightweight materials like silk, organza, chiffon, and georgette into pieces that move with quiet strength. Often working directly on the form, she lets the fabric guide the silhouette intuitively.
Production is intentionally small-scale, slow, and human. Each garment is crafted with care and shaped through time and attention. No two pieces are ever exactly the same. Each one carries the quiet imprint of thought, process, and touch.
Every creation is not only ethically made but also emotionally considered. The connection between fabric, maker, and wearer is what gives each piece its meaning.
